We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk will start from the centre of Old, near the pub and from there we will walk to the medieval village of Faxton. Then we will walk through the parkland behind Lamport Hall and on to Scaldwell. From Scaldwell we will return to Old. Although the walk is classed as moderate we will encounter some steep muddy fields and a few stiles. There will be horses and sheep in some of the fields so RA dogs only please. Its a lovely walk with some good views.
We cannot use the pub car park and it will probably be closed by the time we get back. There is usually enough on street parking available.
