Old Somerby

This is an elongated figure of eight route from Old Somerby church to Little Ponton using the Cross Britain Way for the outward journey, crossing High Dike and walking down the very attractive Woodnook valley.The lunch stop is at Little Ponton church where the grave of actor Richard Todd can be seen. The return takes a slightly different route, with a short climb above the valley then walking along High Dike a short distance using the wide verge.
