Overview

Trevor Allison will be leading this walk for the Shropshire Way Festival of Walks .

The route goes down to the unrestored Montgomery Canal and the Shropshire Way, along a section under restoration including the new Schoolhouse Bridge and then along the restored section to Croft’s Mill Bridge. The route then continues on the newly diverted Wat’s Dyke Way via minor roads and footpaths back to the centre of Oswestry. Just two stiles on the dewatered section of the canal.
