We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk starts from the Visitors Centre with a steady climb of nearly 200 feet following the Staunton Way before descending gently to reach Chalton, Manor Farm and Woodcroft Farm. The route then climbs gradually to the highest point of the day at 623 feet just before Oakham, passing Ditcham Park and Ditcham Park School on the way. We then pick up the Milky Way which descends steeply into Buriton to follow the Hangers Way into Petersfield via The Heath. The route is predominately on good paths and tracks with a few overgrown sections and one low branch to negotiate.
Please bring refreshments and lunch for the day.
