Overview

A moderate, 7 mile walk  on undulating terrain from the nature reserve at Poles Coppice, around the base of Pontesford Hill and Earl’s Hill, through the village of Habberley and back through Eastridge Wood with great views of Earl’s Hill and Lawn Hill. The walk is mostly on field footpaths, farm and woodland tracks, though there is some walking on quiet country lanes. Two of the tracks can be muddy after rain, so waterproof boots advised. Expect some stiles. There will be one stop for coffee and one for lunch.

Your leader will meet you at the starting point.
