Heading from Postbridge to Bellever close by the beautiful East Dart river to Laughter Hole Farm we’ll then join the moor and walk to Laughtor Man Standing Stone. Then up to the top of Bellever Tor before returning alongside Lakehead Hill where you might be able to make out a cist , hut circles and a stone row. A varied walk with forestry, river, open moorland, the top of a tor and the chance of views in clear weather. And a bit of ancient history thrown in too.
Mainly tracks and paths with some mud in places. Moorland section is exposed and will feel cold in windy weather.
Bring a drink for our coffee break.
