After sadly having to cancel this walk in February due to flooding, we're putting this back on so those who want to walk the whole of Shakespeare's Way can fill in the bit we missed!

This 12.5 mile day will cover stunning Cotswold countryside from Shipston-on-Stour to Chipping Norton, a quaint town on the edge of the Cotswolds. This is a slightly hillier route compared to the previous leg and covers open fields, river crossings, stunning little villages and a small amount of woodland.
We'll be meeting in Shipston-On-Stour at Bridge Car Park (free parking) at 10:30, when the walk will start. You can also get the train to Stratford-Upon-Avon in order to then get the number 50 bus to Shipston if public transport is preferred. If time allows we'll stop partway at Long Compton for a pub stop, before continuing onto Chipping Norton and catching the 17:00 bus back to Shipston/Stratford.

The route is 12.5 miles with small sections along the road and some ascent (around 500 metres) so this is a moderate walk.
