A circular walk from Rottingdean walking up to and through Castle Hill. Picnic lunch.
Catch the number 2 bus to Rottingdean from Churchill Square at 09:56 which arrives at 10:30 (I will wait for the arrival of this bus before starting if it is running late). The walk will start by the bus stop. Plenty of parking in Rottingdean (paid by the seafront, or free 5 mins walk away - Whiteway Lane/Dean court road).
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. Click here (https://www.ramblers.org.uk/membership) to apply. The cost is very reasonable and there are also other benefits. Please then bring your membership card with you.
The walk will start from the bus stop in the car park by Tescos (opposite the White Horse pub) in Rottingdean.
