We are the Ryedale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet near the phone box on the main street. This a 9.5 mile circular walk and 970 ft ascent. We head towards Hutton le Hole on wooded paths and field tracks. After a stop we make our way up to Spaunton and then take the road down towards Lastingham, entering the village from the moorland track. After a lunch stop it is back up to Appleton le Moor on a quiet road for a short distance then over fields and wooded paths. There are some hills up and down. Great views, hopefully. It will be muddy in places so be prepared. Please park considerately on the main street.
