Starting at the Car Park head west to Boltby Scar. There we turn south on the Cleveland Way, past the Visitors Centre at Sutton Bank (Where there are toilets) to the White Horse.  We descend the stairs to the Car Park and then head north west through the woods to Hood Grange. Next we cross the A170 and head around the east side of Gormire Lake, passing Southwoods Lodge and continue walking north east past Midge Holm Gate. We then take a path which is to the west of Southwoods Hall, past Little Moor and then turn south east up the zig-zag track to High Barn.  We then take the Cleveland Way again back to Boltby Scar and retrace our steps down Hambleton Mosses to the Car Park
