Ryedale - Cold Moor, Wainstones, Hasty Bank & Urra Moor

We set off from Chop Gate Village Hall and walk up the main road for a short distance before taking the long climb up Cold Moor Lane (Track) onto Cold Moor.  We then turn right onto the Cleveland Way and follow this passing the Wain Stones onto Hasty Bank and crossing the main road just south of Clay Bank Car Park, continuing on the Cleveland Way until the cairn just before Round Hill. We then head east over Urra Moor to Meld Cragg, where we head south the ridge (Earthwork) until we head east again down Black Intake , through William Bank Farm back to Chop Gate.
