Overview

TROUTSDALE

The walk goes NE from the start point on forest tracks and paths along Troutsdale Brow and down to Troutsdale Beck. Then a gentle climb onto Troutsdale Moor and the Pinnacle for lunch.

Then down to the head of Troutsdale to discover the springs that feed the beck before returning via Broad Head and High Scamridge farms.

The walk is on forest tracks and paths that are muddy and slippery in places. Boots are essential and walking poles are useful. Warm and waterproof clothing is essential for the exposed moorland sections.
