Overview

This is stage 6 of the Salford Trail along loop lines and the  Bridgewater Canal. An easy, flat walk. From the station onto a loop line, passing under the A580 then going right onto another loop line. Continuing to the end of the Leigh guided busway and then through a housing estate to cross the A580 and reach Leigh Road. Here, down to pass (but not visit) RHS Bridgewater and reach the Bridgewater canal. Then to Worsley along the canal side.
