Up Sheepstor

From the Arboretum, we take the easiest route to the top of Sheepstor to enjoy the stunning views across the reservoir. We come down through the pretty village of Sheepstor, cross the Sheepstor dam and head a short way up the flanks of the tor to meet a moorland path that contours back to the car park. A little road walking, but mainly tracks that may be rocky and/or muddy in places. Two stiles that can be detoured if necessary. Slow pace throughout.
