Overview

Starting by the bridge at Furnace there is a short but steepish ascent to a minor road then along a woodland path to cross a stream on a footbridge. a short ascent brings the route out onto the moorland of Foel Fawr with extensive views across the Dyfi valley. After lunch a descent follows to join a minor road near an old watermill. Thence following  road & a path back to the start at Furnace.
