We are the Aberystwyth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting by the bridge at Furnace there is a short but steepish ascent to a minor road then along a woodland path to cross a stream on a footbridge. a short ascent brings the route out onto the moorland of Foel Fawr with extensive views across the Dyfi valley. After lunch a descent follows to join a minor road near an old watermill. Thence following road & a path back to the start at Furnace.
For public transport use the 1035 T28 bus from stand 4 at Aberystwyth. Return buses every hour at 45 mins past the hour. PLEASE CONTACT LEADER.
