Overview

The route will visit the Beatland Cross socket stone, look for the remains of a WWII Radar Station RAF Hawks Tor, Hawks Tor. On our return route we will pass a Bronze Age settlement, a stone row and other ancient remains, the cross on Shadden Moor, and the remains of other ancient crosses in an around Shaugh Prior church.
