Overview

The walk consists of woodland walking, field paths and some stretches of road walking, mostly on quiet lanes, and we will have to cross one quiet railway line and the busy A628 twice. There are plenty of ups and downs, but nothing too strenuous. There will be a pub stop at lunchtime at the Station Inn at Silkstone Common, with the added bonus of being able to eat our sandwiches in the pub.
