We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the Park Lane Car Park we will walk through the woods to Slindon Village, then along Mill Lane, up onto the Downs, continuing up to Gumber Farm. We then follow Stane Street through Eartham Woods, on to The Plain, Nore Wood and returning through Slindon Wood. The route covers a mixture of woodland and downland.
Mud and slippery chalk are likely if the weather has been wet so it is essential that walkers have footwear with a good grip and walking poles are recommended.
Bring a picnic lunch.

Park Lane Car Park, Slindon. At the Slindon roundabout on the A27, turn right onto A29, then immediately left into Park Lane. The car park is a little way along on the left.
