Snelsmore to Donnington Castle

We leave Snelsmore Common car park heading towards Boxford via Black Ditch, Mapleash Copse, Winterbourne Church, and Borough Hill before picking up the Lambourn Valley Way. We then pass Jannaways and the Weir, skirt round Stockcross and Bagnor before climbing gently up to Donnington Castle where there will be opportunity to explore the remains. We return to Snelsmore Common car park via Hill's Pightle.
