We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Leaving Boxford Village Hall we head west to reach Sole Border before turning north-east and dropping down to Easton and the weir at Easton Farm. We then shadow the River Lambourn past Westbrook Farm and Knapps Farm to return briefly to the village of Boxford. A gradual climb then takes us to a track to Bagnor Wood, Copse Barn, and on to Jannaways, returning to our cars via the Lambourn Valley Way. Hopefully there will be an abundance of snowdrops to see along the way, particularly beside the river.
Please bring a snack for the mid-morning break.
Sections of this walk will be very muddy if it rains during the next two weeks. Walking boots are strongly recommended.

Please meet at the Boxford Village Hall car park on Rood Hill where parking is available by kind permission to use the right-hand side of the car park as we enter.
