The single journey to Slaggyford is £8
We will be catching the 10.30 train from Alston railway station to Slaggyford and walking back on a footpath that runs alongside the South Tynedale Railway. This walk will be at a leisurely pace.
The footpath is almost entirely flat with no stiles and a gravel surface for the entire length.
For those that wish to walk a shorter route a walk leader would alight at Kirkhaugh station and return covering a shorter distance of 2.5 miles.
