We walk through the Hertfordshire countryside to Hertford Castle via a witch's dell, Bramfield and Panshanger Park. Returning alongside the River Lea Navigation, Hertford Lock and Bengeo.

Stapleford. Take A119 to the junction with Church Lane and park closely in the old High Road parallel to the A119. Additional parking in Church Lane.
