Overview

A Corbet in open country near Balquhidder, unnamed on some maps but known locally as the Surveyor's Peak.

Sheet 57, 427163

Park near Ballimore Farm. Room for several cars.

From the carpark a bridge is crossed and a faint track is followed. Can be a bit boggy after prolonged rain. The hill is in a lovely remote position and is a straightforward climb (no ropes required). The summit affords wide vistas of the surrounding  countryside. The return is a reverse of the ascent.

Around 12km and 500m of ascent for the round trip.

Excellent local coffee stop in Mhor 84. They do fabulous meringues!
