We are the West Kent Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at The George pub in Trottiscliffe village, this is a delighful evening walk that has some lovely views towards the Medway valley and will feature a stop at Coldrum Long Barrow, an early neolithic burial site. Opportunity for a drink at the pub at the end of the walk.
Please note that there is likely to be a small gathering of people at Coldrum Long Barrow. It is considered to be a site of great spirituality and there will be time for a few minutes of quiet contemplation should you wish to participate.
Meet in the car park of The George pub for a prompt start at 6:30pm. Park in the pub car park if you are intending to stay for a drink after the walk, otherwise park around the village.
