We are the Devon Bootlegs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk starts from Christow and also takes in the villages of Trusham & Doddiscombesleigh. It is mostly country lanes and tracks as well as some of the River Teign near Ashton. We'll also scout the edge of Haldon Forest and aim to have lunch up at Haldon Belvedere which offers great views of the surrounding area on a clear day. I've listed the walk as strenuous just so that we can get round at a reasonable pace. The main ascent is up to Haldon and a few other climbs thrown in for good measure.
