Join me on a beautiful walk from the Three Horseshoes in East Worldham, heading east past the picturesque King John's Hill, through fields and woods across to the Village of Oakhanger. We will then head south to the picturesque Village of Selborne, past the site of Selborne Priory and along Writers' way named after the author Jane Austen who once lived in the nearby Village of Chawton in the early 19th century. In the Village of Selborne we will pass Gilbert White's House, where the Naturalist Gilbert White lived, in the 18th century.
On leaving Selborne we will then head north back to East Worldham along the Hangers Way returning to the Three Horseshoes. At the Pub there will be an option for lunch. I have attached a link to the website for the Three Horeshoes Dining at The Three Horseshoes, East Worldham, Pub & Restaurant in Alton (threehorseshoesalton.co.uk). Please let me know what you'd like to order by email.

There may well be some muddy areas along the walk and we will be walking through long grass in some areas so please wear suitable footwear and clothing. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead. This will be a moderately paced walk, approximately 2.75 - 3miles per hr. We will stop for a short break half way through the walk.
