Overview

Starting at Tilford, we will cross the River Wey and head to Crooksbury Hill passing Waverley Abbey along the way. We will then have a short break and enjoy the view at the top of Crooksbury Hill before we head back to Tilford via Charleshill.

Due to the recent prolonged bad weather, the walk will be muddy in places. There will be a very small section of road walking, some walking along very quiet lanes and a steep ascent with steps as we ascend Crooksbury Hill.

The car Park at Tilford Green on Tilford Street, If this is full, there is some parking on the roads around the village green or round the corner at the Stockbridge Car Park on Tilford Road. If you are parking at the Stockbridge Car Park, please allow yourself a further five minutes to get to the starting point.
