Overview

9 miles starting on the edge of Hankley Common walking along bridle paths, woodland, open heathland and boardwalk across Thursley Common voted England’s favourite walk for 2024 to Ockley Common. We then go through the pretty hamlet of Thursley with historic houses into woodland onto MOD land and open space of Hankley Common with far reaching views. There are 2-3 steep inclines and 1 descent so boots essential and poles recommended. Note there are no facilities or refreshments en route so packed lunch and plenty of drinks and snacks are required.
