Overview

We walk through Woodlands and Common Close to Hartley Witney.  A short steep climb onto Bramshill plateau is rewarded with views. Some undulations. The route uses part of the Three Castles Path. We walk along the River Hart and over a Ford.

Some of the paths are overgrown and can be muddy after rain.  Recommend long trousers.  Watch out for tree roots. There are horses in paddocks and bridleways. The path leading to the Ford is uneven.  Some minor road walking.
