Overview

Join Mary for a linear walk of about three miles to the “village” of Rotherhithe along the River.  Learn about its connections with the Pilgrim Fathers and their journey to the New World in the famous Mayflower ship.  Meet Ada and Harry Salter, champions of the poor and underprivileged in East London, and encounter Isambard Kingdom Brunel and his Thames Tunnel.  Finishing at Rotherhithe station (London Overground). Toilets and refreshments.
