Starting from the Leisure Centre the walk will go south along the river to Cossington Lock and the come back via Cossington village and meadows to Mountsorrel.
The second half will be towards the north cutting across the fields to Barrow on Soar from there cross the slabs to Quorn then returning by the other side of the river to Mountsorrel.
The walk consists of 2 six mile loops, walkers may choose to only complete the first half.
The walk will be mainly flat but being alongside the river, it will be very muddy in places.
Leisure Centre Car Park beware it is locked at 4pm
