Overview

This leisurely walk takes advantage of the nearby Rive Thames. We’ll head westwards from Northmoor to pick up the footpath that leads to Newbridge. From there we’ll meander along the Thames Path National Trail to the delightful Northmoor Lock, where we’ll tarry awhile to appreciate it. After walking along the Thames a little bit more we’ll follow a footpath back to Northmoor. Bring a drink and a snack for the break. Park considerately in the village unless we have permission to go into the carpark of The Red Lion pub, which is not open at lunchtime on Tuesdays. A joint Vale and West Oxfordshire groups' walk on the first Tuesday of the month. Vale Walk Leader DC 01367 820683 / 07544 979253
