Overview
We’ll head south from Uffington car park along the footpath where all the stiles have been replaced by kissing gates. We’ll then follow stile-free footpaths to and beyond Woolstone to and along the ancient Hardwell Lane. From there we’ll follow the D’Arcy Dalton Way (named after the founder of the Oxford Fieldpaths Society) and other footpaths back to Uffington near the church, then following Broad Street back to the car park, where there is a shop. Bring a drink and a snack for the break. All being well, The Fox and Hounds pub, on High Street in Uffington, will be open for lunch for those who would like to eat or just have a drink together (completely optional).
