This is a beautiful North Sea coastal walk between Holland-on-Sea to Walton-on the-Naze, passing through Frinton, and returning on same route back to Holland on Sea.
I would like to invite you to join us for a coastline moderate walk from Holland-on-Sea to Walton-on-the-Naze Tower on Sunday 25th August,, start time 1030 (approx walking pace 3mph)
Our destination, The Naze Tower is an historic 86ft landmark and unique visitor attraction
Over eight floors reached by a spiral staircase of 111 stairs the Naze Tower now houses an art gallery with diverse exhibitions of work by East Anglian artists, a museum on the Tower and the Naze. It has an open top roof viewing platform with breathtaking views of the land and seascape of Essex and Suffolk
Parking is free at Holland on Sea at Kings Parade, but you can also park at Holland Haven car park C015 5UB. I suggest we meet at the car park at 1020 to commence our walk at 1030.
This is a moderate walk, with a pace of approx 3mph
There are a few cafés along the coastline so we can stop for a refreshment break. Please bring a packed lunch/snack, as the walk will take around 4 hours with breaks.
Can you also bring cash with you as some of the huts don’t have internet access, if you want to purchase a tea/coffee.
Option to swim at Holland at the end of the walk
Well behaved dogs on leads please
