We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk is in remembrance of Chris Pagan. Chris was a founding member of East Herts and led the first ever East Herts Ramblers Walk. Chris not only led many walks for us but he worked tirelessly to improve the footpaths and access in our area for all walkers. We all benefit from this.
We will walk to Sacombe Church via Furzeground and Low Woods. St Catherine’s Church which has served the local area for more than 1000 years. We will then visit Sacombe Green and admire its rather impressive houses. Passing some Christmas trees we will walk along Lowgate Lane before returning to Wadesmill walking beside the Bourne and enjoying the extensive views, weather permitting.

We will meet on the green outside the Feathers on the corner of Youngsbury Lane. Parking is available around the village and along Anchor Lane. Please be mindful of local residents and other visitors.
