Overview

The walk is a figure of eight consisting of 3 and 5 mile loops starting at Wenvoe Church. The first loop goes through Wenvoe Woods, around Wenvoe Castle golf course, and returns to the start. The main loop cuts across towards Michaelston le pit and then via Cwm George up the woods and alongside Dinas Powis golf course towards St. Andrews Major, before returning to Wenvoe. At various points on the way there are views across the Bristol Channel towards Barry or across Cardiff Bay.
