We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Leaving Elcot Park we will walk up the road to Elcot Farm and onto the byway heading towards Lip Lane. Part way along the byway we will turn and head to Orpenham Farm and Winding Wood Lane. We will follow the lane west before turning south west to join a minor road for a short distance and then join the footpath leading to Radley Farm and eventually to Clapton Farm when we will follow the path east to Elcot Farm and return to Elcot Park.
There are 3 (maybe 4) stiles but the route is mainly field tracks, woodland paths and some short stretches of minor roads. Any mud can be avoided.
There are toilets available at Elcot Park Hotel and refreshments in the cafe (The Signet Stores) will be available at the end of the walk.
Please bring refreshments for a mid walk break.

The car parking is in the second car park at The Retreat, Elcot Park Hotel. This parking is by kind permission of the hotel. Use the second entrance , to the Spa not the Hotel, and park anywhere in the two large car parks. Meet at the tree next to the Disabled Parking spaces
