Starting from Hope Station we climb up to Aston, towards Thornhill Carrs before the ascent up to the top of Win Hill. Hopefully some fabulous views of the Edale valley, Kinder and Ladybower. We descend partially from the summit before taking a woodland path that skirts the reservoir. Depending on the weather we may continue through the woods and climb up to Hope Crosss, or make an earlier ascent which takes us back onto open land and fabulous views back to Lose Hill and Back Tor. Our descent will be down to Edale End and on back into Hope.
Some of the forest tracks are muddy and we cross a very mucky field on the return, so gaiters recommended!
There are toilets, shops and cafes a short distance away in Hope Village
Meet at Hope Station. Parking available here for £2 , but you need to pay via RingGo. I would recommend downloading the app and registering your car before getting here to save time. There is also at carpark in the village and some free street parking if not too busy.
