Overview

A local walk through Paxcroft Mead to Green Lane Wood, then through fields gently climbing up to Steeple Ashton. After this, it's all downhill towards the canal and back to the start through fields and the canal path. This walk crosses the A 350 twice. We may need to climb two gates, one on the footpath which is locked and another to avoid an overgrown footpath. Both have been reported to the Council. Bring lunch and a snack.
