Overview

After walking round the edge of Tenchleys Park we will descend through fields with an excellent view south. From moat Farm the route goes east past the lake at Trevereux to reach Crockham Hill. After walking along the 'balcony' above Chartwell we'll return via Crockham Hill Common and part of the Greensand Way. An undulating walk - hills, but none of them long and steep. Exp 147.

Meet outside the Carpenters Arms. You can park in that road (Tally Road), but there are two car parks close by, on Moorehouse Road, north of the junction with Tally Road. The one nearest Tally Road is very small. Gets quite busy on Sundays
