Overview

A lovely walk on the NDW up from Detling and along the ridge above Thurnham, passing the ruin of Thurnham Castle. Far-reaching views on a clear day, with more than a glimpse of the (fairly) new vineyards along the Pilgrims Way. The return leg takes us past Cobham Manor and Oast past St. Mary's Church in Thurnham along a track through the vines. The Cock Inn beckons for refreshments at the end of the walk.
