Overview

Starting from the historic village of Farningham, our walk show the diverse activities the land locally is used for.

We start by following the A20 up Gorse Hill before joining a footpath which takes us through a vineyard before crossing fields and the M20. We then pass through some woods before heading to Speedgate Farm and onto a local road where we pass a retirement home for Greyhounds. We then follow the footpath that skirts Brands Hatch motor racing circuit. From Brands Hatch we have a short period of road walking before we pick up the footpath again and head north west towards Eynsford, enjoying panoramic views and woodland. We cross an ancient bridge over the River Darenth and join the permissive path which takes us back to Farningham.
