We are the Plymouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A varied walk starting at Yelverton. Follow the Dartmoor Way along the river Meavy through woodland to Shaugh Bridge, then head up to Dewerstone. Cross Wigford Down to Cadover Bridge. Return to Yelverton via Clearbrook. A mix of good paths, stonier paths, tracks, lanes and moorland. There are a few stiles.
Due to the length of the walk and the shorter winter days, we will need to keep up a good pace throughout the walk, which includes some hills. If you have any concerns about fitness to complete the walk, please contact the walk leader in advance to discuss the suitability of the walk for you.
