We are the Northamptonshire Area Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

In the rolling and picturesque countryside of Northamptonshire there are five walking groups and an active group of volunteers working at a county level to maintain rights of way, rediscover old ones and promote walking.
The local groups in Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Daventry and a county-wide Northants 20s to 40s group run their own walk calendars and social events. Most run programmes of walks on specific days in the week.
So, whether you’re looking for a friendly group to walk with all day, in the morning or afternoon; during the week or at the weekend, we hope that there is a walk to suit you!
