Overview

We will head from the car park along the leat to Norsworthy bridge, then through Narrator Plantation to Sheeps Tor. From there, on to Gutter Tor and Legis Tor, where we’ll find an old vermin trap. Next we walk to Brisworthy stone circle, the village of Meavy and a final climb to the car park.

This is a strenuous moorland walk, with some steep ascents, some rough and boggy ground, a few stiles and stream crossings. The tracks will be muddy at this time of year. On a clear day there will be some fantastic views of South Dartmoor and beyond.
