Join me in one of my favourite areas on the western edge of The New Forest.
The walk starts from the picturesque village of Rockbourne from where we go up to the village of Whitsbury, well known for it’s stud farm, then on via the medieval Mizmaze to Breamore with it’s impressive Elizabethan Manor House. We then return to Whitsbury where we stop for a pub lunch at The Cartwheel Inn with picnickers taking advantage of the seating at the nearby church. Returning to Rockbourne in the afternoon.
Parking is in the overflow car park at Western Downland School - on the right on entering Rockbourne.
Please arrive for a prompt 10am start.
