Overview

From the zoo, we walk via Hensting and Colden Common to the river at Brambridge.  Avoiding a flooded section, we join the river part way to Shawford, where we will picnic.  The river bank then takes us to Winchester

The No 69 bus calls at Marwell on Sundays and will take us to the start from Winchester.  Please note that it is not possible to meet us at Marwell and take the bus back after the walk as the last bus will have left before we finish.

I will wait by the vehicle entrance to Chesil St multi-storey car park (free on Sundays) until 0910 for anyone who does not know the way from there to the bus station (a 5 minute walk). Others may choose to go directly to the bus station for the No 69 bus at 0925. The walk will finish at this point.
