Overview

From Llanthony Priory we walk to Travalog Bridge and above Sychtre for a coffee stop.  The path then contours and ascends to Bal Bach where we will hope to see a carpet of purple heather and continue to Garn Wen for lunch.  Retracing our steps we take our time to descend Cwm Bwchel (poles advisable) back to the Priory where refreshments are available at the Abbey Bar.
