The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley

This is the first self-guided walking day for our group's one week stay at HF Church Stretton. Other Ramblers members are invited to join us on the walks.

This walk takes a relatively gentle route up the Long Mynd through the Townbrook Valley to Boiling Well, before reaching Pole Bank, at 517 metres the highest point.  It then follows the ridge before going down Jack Mytton Way and Mott’s Road into the Carding Mill Valley (NT Café at foot of valley) and returning to the hotel.
