For the first 2 miles on this walk we will follow the Three Castles Walk as far as Box Farm. We then leave the Three Castle Walk and go on across field paths to Brook House Farm before doubling back, following Blackbrook and Norton Brook, to return to the start point. Local legend has it that on nights when there is a full moon the devil dances with his lady at Skenfrith Castle. On the walk we will pass Blackbrook House, once the residence of a religious order of Benedictine monks who dressed in black habits.
